What can be done with the XING-integration?

With the integration of XING, it’s possible to add contacts from your personal XING-network to the contact management in Stackfield. Subsequently, these contacts can be added directly to a Stack.

1. Adding XING contacts to your contact management

In order to add XING contacts to the contact management within Stackfield initially open the dialog “My Contacts”.

Clicking on “New Contact” then opens a new window in Stackfield, in which are several options for inviting new contact.

Here you can click on the XING-logo in the section “Invite from social networks”.

You will be asked to confirm the use of your XING contacts by Stackfield.

After the access to the contacts is granted, the individual contacts can be selected and added. Simply click on “Add” besides a contact to do so.

The contact was thus added to the address book in Stackfield. If the added contact doesn’t own an account yet he will receive an invitation. Adding a contact with an existing account will simply add him to the address book without him receiving a notification.

When selecting the XING-contacts we will not store any data of not selected contacts. If you select a contact to be added to your address book only the name and the email address will be saved. No other data will be captured.

2. Adding XING-contacts to a Stack

Once a contact is in your address book, it can be added ad usual to a Stack.

What are the benefits of the XING integration?

The manual typing of email address and inviting a whole team can take a long time under certain circumstances. With the help of the XING integration the entire process of inviting persons is accelerated. In addition, you don’t necessarily need to know the email address of a person any longer.
