Adding Google Docs to a Room

In addition to files from your own computer, you can also add files from Dropbox, One Drive, Box, or Google Drive to rooms. Via Google Drive, Google Docs can be integrated into rooms or attached to elements in Stackfield.

How to add Google Docs to rooms

There are two possibilities to store a google doc in a room. You can either click on the gray plus icon next to the text input field within the communication module and select the option "Google Drive" under "File" or you click on the blue plus icon in the upper right corner of the files module.

Now, a window opens in which you have to enter the login data of your Google account. Afterward, you can select a file from Google Drive and add it to Stackfield.

How to attach a Google Doc

Basis: Attachments

Google Docs can be attached to elements, like tasks or discussions. Simply click on the paperclip icon within the opened entry and select the option "Google Drive". Now you can select the required file. It will then be attached directly to the element in Stackfield. Attach Google Docs via paperclip icon
