Continuous and many notifications (about incoming messages or changes in the modules) from collaboration and / or communication tools can interrupt your work unnecessarily. Any distraction and need to re-focus on the workflow can reduce your productivity.
Selected rooms mute
If you only want to view a room occasionally and do not want to receive notifications from it all the time, it can be muted. Note: The room is muted only for you and not automatically for other users. In the sidebar in Stackfield, a circle next to the room will continue to inform you that a change has taken place.
A right-click on the room opens a menu with the button "Mute Room". This status is indicated by a crossed-out loudspeaker next to the room.
Mute room
Right-click on the respective room and select "Unmute Room" to undo this action.
Customize personal settings of the notifications
You can access the settings of the notifications via "My Account". There you can choose what you want to be informed about, how (Desktop / Mobile App / E-Mail) and when (Anytime / Weekdays with times) you want to receive notifications. If a period is agreed in which notifications are only allowed, then they will not be sent outside the specified period, not even at a later time.

Pause / activate notifications
In order not to interrupt longer concentration phases you can set a pause for notifications. During this time a red dot will be displayed on your profile picture. This will tell your colleagues that you are "busy" and don't want to be disturbed.
Click on your own profile picture in the lower-left corner to open the personal settings menu, in which "Pause Notifications" has to be selected.
Pause notifications
If the pause is not ended earlier (in the personal settings by "Activate Notifications"), the notifications are deactivated until the next morning.
Activate notifications
As soon as the pause is turned off, a green dot will appear next to your profile picture ("Online").
