Move contents / elements between rooms

Because of encryption at room level, too large amounts of data or different contents / elements cannot be moved between rooms within an organization at the same time.

Move individual elements

However, individual elements (such as tasks and discussions) can be moved or copied to another room. A right-click on the closed element opens a list where you can select the desired option and then the target area.

Move marked files

For files it is not recommended to move / copy single files. All desired files or file folders can be marked with a few clicks and then moved to the target area by downloading and uploading them.

1. Mark files (by holding down the Control key / Shift key)
2. Right click and select "Download All"
3. Downloaded zip folder with stretch click and extract to target folder
4. Rename the extracted folder if necessary
5. Open target room in Stackfield and drag & drop the folder there

Note

For several organizations, a complete room between the organizations can be moved.
