Checklist with explanation for advanced users

In this article you'll find more tips to save time and make working with others even more productive.

Share information coherently and in the "right place"

  • Reference to relevant information (e.g. by #-mention for rooms or link for other content)
  • Add comments to a particular person (using @mention)
  • Add files to other elements later
  • Move content to a different, more appropriate room

Solution note: Connect Information (e.g. files and @mention) with each other and move / copy content.

Use filters to get reports

Information can be structured individually in Stackfield and displayed as Reports. This provides a complete overview.

Find answers to the following questions for yourself:
  • What are my open tasks and subtasks?
  • What tasks are in progress?
  • Do I have an event today / tomorrow / the day after tomorrow?
  • What tasks you have assigned to someone are not done yet?
  • Which documents / files / discussions have I created?
Tip: Save frequently used / favorite views so that the desired filter options don't have to be completely reset each time.

Solution note: Use the functions "My Week", "Everything" and filters. See aso Use Cases.

Create your own project

If you have the permission you can not only work in already existing rooms, but if it makes sense you can also create a project as new room. The following points can serve as orientation:

  • Create room (from room template) incl. name, description and selection of modules
  • Invite members and assign a group of rights
  • Create / adapt and assign tasks and workflows
  • If necessary, set up integration of data from another software (webhooks for each room and module)

Solution note: Room template and right groups.

Use additional features

  • Reminder
  • Add / remove followers
  • Favorites
  • Activate / Pause / Deactivate Notifications
  • Format messages and use keyboard shortcuts

Solution note: How to stay up to date in Stackfield and tips for undisturbed working.

Active training and improvement

Advanced users understand the functionality of Stackfield and can actively contribute to improvements. The workflows in Stackfield must be optimally adapted to the way the company works.

  • Use information, e.g. from Stackfields Learning Center
  • Trying out functions in a test area
  • Mutual exchange with experienced users in your company
  • Collection of best practices and areas of application
  • Feedback (e.g. for improvements of templates and workflows or additionally required folders / modules / integrations)
